Full-Time and Part-Time Options
Full-Time
Students enrolled in the program on a full-time basis and who remain in good academic standing can complete the program in two years. Students are required to attend class both Thursday and Friday and complete their practicum hours during the remainder of the week.
Part-Time
Students enrolled in the program on a part-time basis and who remain in good academic standing are encouraged to complete the program in three years. Part-time students are required to attend class on Thursdays during their first year and on Fridays during their second and third years. Part-time students are also required to attend a one hour seminar course on Thursdays during their second year. Part-time students do not begin the practicum until their second year of the program.
The table below illustrates students' full-time and part-time schedules. Although elective courses are scheduled for Thursday evenings, a number of alternative options exist, allowing students to complete a limited number of elective credits in other departments and during the summer session.
