Get Involved!
The School of Physical Therapy & Rehabilitation Science has received a lot of generous support over the last year from many; a list of donors appears in our summer 2007 newsletter. Along with Mark Schleicher, Director of Development and Alumni Relations for the College of Health Professions and Biomedical Sciences, we extend a big THANK YOU on behalf of the school’s students, faculty and staff for your contributions. Your gifts make a tremendous difference in the quality of education we can offer our students.
Are you aware that The School of Physical Therapy and The University of Montana are involved in the largest fundraising campaign in the history of Montana? The donors listed above have helped push the Invest in Discovery campaign closer to its ultimate goal of $100 million. Thus far, over 24,000 alumni and friends (enough to fill Washington-Grizzly Stadium) have donated over $96 million since 2002. With continued financial help, UM should surpass the $100 million goal by the end of the campaign, December 31, 2007.
Every gift to UM, regardless of designation (i.e. School of Physical Therapy), counts toward the $100 million goal. This is your opportunity to positively affect the quality of education at the School of Physical Therapy while helping UM surpass its campaign goal. Making a gift is easy. Please visit www.discoveryneverends.org for online giving options, or simply mail a check in the enclosed, self-addressed envelope to The University of Montana Foundation; P.O. Box 7159; Missoula, MT 59807. If sending in a check, please note where your gift should go (The School of Physical Therapy, PT scholarships, The New Directions Wellness Center, The Nora Staael Evert PT Clinic, etc.).
Your help in both supporting promoting our program is as always, vital. I also seek your input in how we can make our program more attractive to both prospective students and practicing clinicians, so please contact me (reed.humphrey@umontana.edu or 406-243-2417). Thanks for your continued support of our School.
