Jamie Rubel ‘02
Jamie gave birth to new son, Harper Beigh, on April 20, 2007 at 6:33 a.m. Harper weighed 5 lbs. 15 ozs.
Rachel Hart ‘96
Tessa Mae Howard, born April 23, 2007, is the new daughter of Rachel “Finally a Girl,” Hart. Rachel, Phil and Tessa live in Havre, Montana
Beth Anne Sonsteng ’06
Beth married Mark Fancis Salusso on the 26th of August, 2006 on the Big Hole River in Divide, Montana. Congratulations!
Colleen Hatcher ’88
Colleen reports she is “doing administrative stuff” as Rehab Manager at Bozeman Deaconess Hospital. “It’s been nice for a change, but I miss patient care.”
Linsey Keller Olson ’03
Linsey is working at Alpine Physical Therapy in Missoula. She participates in administrative duties and treats patients. Linsey married Scott Olson a week after graduation and is the mother of “two beautiful daughters,” Morgan and Sophie.
Emily Herndon ’06
We read where Emily Herndon continues her winning ways as a triathlete, coming in first at the Angels Camp Triathlon in Angels Camp, California, May 22, 2007. Emily practices at Bones Physical Therapy in Sonora CA, which is partly owned by another UM alumnus, also a competitive triathlete, John Brunolli, class of “86.”
A Thank you from Emily Herndon:
Dear PT Faculty: I passed my national boards on the first try and received some great compliments from my patients. These reflect on what a wonderful job you guys did as professors. One of my patients was involved in a car accident. The insurance company investigating the claims felt the physical therapy expenses were “unneeded.” With the research in evidence that you guys preached to me for the last three years, I was able to write a report to the insurance company justifying the use of physical therapy. The company is now taking care of all my patient’s physical therapy costs without an argument. Another patient told me, "You aren't like any physical therapist I have had. You take the time to figure out exactly what the problem is and revise my therapy sessions as we discover new things…” Thanks to all of you for making us different!
Peggy Jensen ’96
The class of ‘96 invited faculty and friends to a tailgate party and dinner that night on Saturday, October 28, 2006. Nineteen of twenty-six alums attended. Beth Ikeda gave the group a tour of the Skaggs Building, as they reminisced about the basketball court once stationed above their classrooms in McGill Hall. Thank you, Peggy, for coordinating this event!
Emily Willcox ‘06
Emily and Riley Willcox sent a photo of Paige Montgomery Wilcox, born on June 17th, 2006. Emily wrote, “Paige has been keeping our lines tangled ever since!”
Heather Cardoza ’02 was married on April 22, 2007 and Tucker Schonberg and Andy (Love) Schonberg ’03 had a baby boy on August 20, 2007.
