Mission Statement
The mission of the Health Service Pharmacy is to provide the highest quality pharmaceutical service for the students of The University of Montana.
This includes:
- Selecting the highest quality, least expensive medication.
- Screening for potential drug therapy problems due to therapeutic duplication, drug-disease contraindications, drug interactions, incorrect drug dosage or duration of drug treatment, drug allergy interactions, and clinical abuse or misuse of medication.
- Communication with the patients to provide optimal therapeutic results.
- Providing students with accurate, timely information concerning medications.
By our actions and service, we will be able to educate the students of The University of Montana as to the level of care that they should expect from pharmacists when they leave The University of Montana.
