The University of Montana General Scholarship Program is available to continuing undergraduate UM students and draws together many endowed scholarships and donations into a single scholarship application form. A scholarship committee matches qualified applicants with the scholarship that best fits them.
UM DAVIDSON HONORS COLLEGE

Undergraduate Student/Faculty Research Awards
Undergraduate Student/Faculty Research Awards will support up to 25 student/faculty research teams. These awards are open to any student on the UM-M campus. Each successful student applicant will receive an undergraduate research scholarship of $1,000 and each student/faculty team will receive up to an additional $500 to cover expenses related to their research activities (the purchase of books or materials, travel, etc.).
The program is intended to a) provide selected students (sophomores - seniors) a) the opportunity to spend the academic year apprenticing with a faculty mentor, learning from and assisting with his or her research activity, and b) planning, developing, and carrying out his or her own research project with the guidance of that faculty mentor.
The Goldwater Scholarship
The Goldwater Scholarship Foundation will award up to $7,500 per academic year to exceptional students who plan to pursue a career in math, science, or engineering.
All applicants must be full-time sophomores or juniors during the 2006-07 academic year and have earned a GPA of 3.0 or higher; or be taking curriculum needed for a career in math, science, and/or engineering.
The Morris K. Udall Scholarship
The Udall Scholarship awards up to $5,000 per year to sophomores who are Native American or Alaskan Natives who intend to pursue careers in health care or tribal policy. Applicants who meet the above qualifications and hope to pursue a career in environmental policy are also welcomed. All applicants must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher.

The UM Native American Studies Department offers 22 scholarships specifically for Native American students enrolled at The University of Montana.
UM PHYSICAL THERAPY PROGRAM

The UM physical therapy program distributes over 35 scholarships a year. These scholarships typically range in value from $100 - $3000. Scholarships are distributed only to established students in the program.
