Pharmacy Practice (PGY1) Residency Opportunities at The University of Montana
There are two ASHP-accredited Pharmacy Practice (PGY1) residency positions administrated by The University of Montana Pharmacy Practice Department. Both positions are located in Missoula, Montana--one is at Community Medical Center and the other is at St. Patrick Hospital.

Pharmacy Practice Residency at Community Medical Center

This 145-bed community hospital began its residency program in July 2001. This general medicine hospital offers advanced clinical pharmacy services, including a pharmacist-managed Pain Protocol, and serves as a teaching site for students at The University of Montana Skaggs School of Pharmacy.

Pharmacy Practice Residency at St. Patrick Hospital

This 213-bed referral center began its residency program in July 2007. The hospital is a tertiary care center that specializes in cardiology and offers decentralized pharmacy services, with several areas of clinical specialties. It also serves as a teaching site for students at The University of Montana Skaggs School of Pharmacy.
