UM Foundation
Since 2002, the University has been in a historic $100 million campaign to ensure that The University of Montana can always provide quality teaching, research and public service. So far the “Invest in Discovery” campaign has raised over $99 million thanks to over 25,000 donors. The campaign is scheduled to close on December 31, 2007.
The University of Montana Foundation was established in 1951 on the belief that excellence in higher education could be greatly augmented through the infusion of private gifts. The UM Foundation serves as a charitable non-profit organization under Internal Revenue Service 501(c)(3) designations and is the official development office for The University of Montana. The Foundation has resolved that the support of its donors not replace the obligation of the State of Montana to provide for the basic needs of the University’s programs, but that it will enhance the quality and scope of UM programs.
The University of Montana Foundation
Are you aware that the College of Health Professions and Biomedical Sciences and The University of Montana are involved in the largest fundraising campaign in the history of Montana? Thus far, over 25,000 alumni and friends (enough to fill Washington-Grizzly Stadium) have donated over $99 million since 2002. With continued financial help, UM will surpass the $100 million goal by the end of the campaign, December 31, 2007.
Every gift to UM, regardless of designation (i.e. School of Pharmacy, School of Physical Therapy, School of Social Work, School of Public Health), counts toward the $100 million goal. This is your opportunity to positively affect the quality of education at the College while helping UM surpass its campaign goal. Making a gift is easy.
