2012 Montana Neuroscience Retreat

Save the date for the 2012 Annual Montana Neuroscience Retreat!  This event provides a forum for faculty, postdoctoral fellows, and graduate students to debut research and interface with colleagues from other Montana institutions.  The 2012 retreat is scheduled for June 15-17 in Bozeman, MT at Montana State University and will feature guest speakers Dr. Bryan Roth from University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill and Dr. Jeff Lichtman from Harvard University Medical School.

Registration

The CSFN is pleased to continue our sponsorship of lodging and food & beverage costs for our invited guests.  Invited participants can register for the meeting here (http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/K8LKH7Y) until May 11.  Due to space limitations we are unable to accommodate requests from attendees who wish to bring their families this year.

Poster Abstract Submission

All attending scientists are invited to submit abstracts for participation in the poster session.  Include a title, all authors, and organization affiliations.  The abstract should state the study’s objective, briefly describe the methods used, summarize the results obtained, and state the conclusions.  Please emphasize the significance of results and general principles rather than ordinary methods and procedures.  Please submit abstracts for your poster electronically to lefcort@montana.edu by 5 PM on Friday, May 25.

Poster Guidelines

Poster display boards (5.5’ wide x 3/5’ high) will be available for mounting posters; informal layouts of ongoing projects are also accepted.  To emphasize the importance of organizations that sponsor research, please disclose any sources of contributed support.
