In Memoriam
Robert Dale "Bob" Martina, of Butte, MT passed away Saturday, April 26, 2008.
Bob graduated from the University of Montana School of Pharmacy in 1975. Three years later he married Patricia Vavrick. Together they had two sons, Christopher and Anthony.
The greater part of Bob's career was spent as a pharmaceutical representative for Boehringer Ingleheim and then for Glaxo Smith Kline. He also managed to remain close to his Alma Mater and served as a member of the Skaggs School of Pharmacy Board of Visitors from 1998 until his death. He will be dearly missed.
Purpose
The primary purpose of the Board of Visitors to the Skaggs School of Pharmacy is to provide a strong link between the Pharmacy Program and the pharmacy and medical community. The Board is designed to function in an advisory capacity to the Dean and the faculty.
The Board meets on an annual basis to discuss the activities, programs, and needs of the Programs. It provides active assistance toward achieving the goals of the Program. While the Board of Visitors is not viewed primarily as a fund-raising group, it may, at its discretion, participate in fund-raising projects.

Additional Information
The Board meets annually in the autumn. Board members are appointed each year by the Dean of the School for a three year term.
The Dean of the School, the Executive Director of the Montana Board of Pharmacy, and the Executive Director of the Montana Pharmacy Association serve as members of the Board by virtue of their positions.
