Welcome to the Native American Center Of Excellence (NACOE) at the University of Montana. The purpose of our program is to support Native American students pursuing a pharmacy degree at the University of Montana. We encourage future students to reach out to our office.

WHAT IS NACOE?

We are an HRSA-funded grant program focused on supporting Native American pharmacy students. The goal of our program is to increase American Indian healthcare providers and increase overall healthcare providers in rural areas in Montana.

  • Pharmacy students
  • Pre-Pharmacy

REQUIREMENTS

To qualify for our program and services you must identify as American Indian who is:

  • In pharmacy school
  • Pre-pharmacy student
  • Interested in a pharmacy career

UM Food Pantry & Bear Necessities: 

The UM Food Pantry is open Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday 11:00 am - 3:00 pm. There are various food pantry locations and services on the UM Food Pantry website, please visit their page for more information or contact them at umpantry@mso.umt.edu or call (406) 243-5125.

The UM Bear Necessities supports students who are needing assistance meeting their basic needs. Please visit their website to learn more about their services.
