Chair in Cardiovascular Sciences Committee
Mission
The Chair in Cardiovascular Sciences Committee is a group of dedicated individuals committed to improving the top notch cardiac care available in Montana and the region. The Chair is a collaboration between The University of Montana College of Health Professions and Biomedical Sciences, St. Patrick Hospital and Health Sciences Center, and the International Heart Institute of Montana. The ultimate goal of the committee is to raise $2.5 million to endow a Chair of Cardiovascular Sciences. When fully funded, the Chair holder, an MD, PhD, would lead ground breaking translational cardiac research (bench to bedside) positively impacting patients’ cardiac care in Montana and the surrounding region. Over $450,000 has been raised to date.
